Hello! I've recently begun to move all of my Leonbergers from one of my other kennels to this one. All the dogs will continue to carry the "DrknS" affix.
Leonberger Kennel Policies:
* most puppies will be priced at $100
* all studs, including champions, will only be $100 - always
* I'll do my very best to ensure that all dogs over 30 days will be available for stud use - I know how hard it can be tracking down a certain trait, so all my boys will be posted, regardless of quality
* I have no problem working with other breeders. If you are interested in buying a dog, leasing a bitch, or cooperating in the improvement of a certain trait, do not hesitate to ask!
* I run a basic-friendly kennel, however I perform kennel checks on all dog offers. I will check to see how close to your dog limit you are, what type of rations you are utilizing, and if you are sessioning your finishable dogs. If your offer is refused, do not offer a higher amount.

Showing dogs takes a lot of money, and as a result, I've made a few policies to be followed by the breeders I work with.
When I start working with the dog, I will buy it for $100. The return price is variable.
$200 - Buyback price on a dog that was sessioned before it came here and is leaving a champion. Net gain for me: $100.
$250 - Buyback price on a dog that was partially sessioned before it came here and is leaving a champion. Net gain for me: $150.
$300 - Buyback price on a dog that had no sessioning done before it came here and is leaving a champion. Net gain for me: $200
** Please remember these net gains go to cover the cost of feeding your dog, sessioning if necessary (in which case, your dog will be fed high end custom rations until it reaches its 20s), and the price of show entries. I usually do my entries by the list of judges who like your dog, and those aren't always $5.00 shows
**There are times for all showers and breeders that a dog has to struggle to earn it's title. If it comes down to the line and I have to email the breeder and ask assistance, I will knock $100 off the price of the dog immediately.
Don't forget - if you dog/bitch earns any extra money along the finishing path, be it show payouts or stud fees, I will subtract the amount from your buyback price. Your dog may just end up being free.
If I fail to title your dog, I will pay $100 SD to your kennel. No questions asked. If the dog earns his title in a timely manner, and you were happy with my services, I will be more than willing to trade the titled dog for a new finishing project.
I will honor any requests by the owners of the dogs I show. If you'd like your stud removed from the listings while it's with me, that is fine. If you'd like your dog only put in shows with his favorite judges, I'm more than willing. If you need something added to the dog's call name, or any other little thing, just let me know and consider it done.
When you sell your dog to me, expect timely feedback on the dog's progress. I won't bother you with an email telling you that your baby got RWB at some no name show, but I *always* send emails when the dogs get majors.
I would like to add that I am most comfortable working with dogs on the difficulty chart between 120 and 5
